Abbeyfeale (Holders) qualified for the Final of the Munster Junior Cup when they defeated Thomond in the semi-final by 3 pts to nil at Thomond Park Limerick.
The Abbeyfeale score came five minutes from the end. Abbeyfeal were well served by Bernard Broderick – Cyril McMahon – Tom Lynch – Gerry O’Brien – Michael Shine.
Abbeyfeale’s next outing is against Skibbereen in the replay of the Cork Cup at Skibbereen on Easter Monday.

A Try in the last minute of the match put holders Abbeyfeale into the final of the Munster Junior Cup at the expense of Thomond at Thomond Park, yesterday.
With five minutes of injury time played, Tom Stack, the Abbeyfeale Left Wing picked up following a melee on the Thomond line and dived over for the one and only Try.
