Cyril McMahon Tribute
A TRIBUTE TO THE LATE CYRIL McMAHON:
1994.
The death has taken place of Cyril McMahon, 20 Heidleberg, Castletroy.
Cyril, who was originally from Abbeyfeale was employed as a machine manager by the Limerick Leader since April 1960.
He was well known in sporting circles havin won two Munster junior rugby cup medels with Abbeyfeale in 1964 and in 1966 when he was Captain of the team.
Cyril also played for Munster at junior level during the 60′s….In 1972 and 1973 he played with the young Munster Senior Team, which was Captained by Jim Brislane.
