Abbeyfeale 1stXV .............05 Cashel.............................29 Abbeyfeale welcomed Cashel to the grove on sunday last at 2p.m in the Munster Junior Cup.Abbeyfeale knew they were going to have a tough competition against Cashel.10 minutes in Cashel put Abbeyfeale under pressure straight away by scoring a converted try followed by a penalty and another converted try despite the efforts of Abbeyfeale to defend leaving the half time score 17/0 to Cashel. Abbeyfeale managed to keep Cashel scoreless for the next 30 minutes and with a great team effort with backs and forwards combining with Robert Browne finishing with a well taken try in the corner.Cashel rallied in the last 10 minutes to score two trys and one converted leaving the final score 29/5 to Cashel.

Abbeyfeale U17s beat Castleisland 86/0 yet again an unfair league and Abbeyfeale U13s lost to Tralee 35/5 at the grove last saturday.

Abbeyfeale welcomed Waterford city in the first round of the Munster Junior League on sunday last. Waterford got off to a flying start with a converted try 15 minutes in. Half time score Abbeyfeale 0- Waterford 7. Abbeyfeale had it all to do in the second half with a lot of missed chances but finally a penalty came 20 minutes in which was well struck by Tom Enright.
