Abbeyfeale took on Presentation of Limerick on sunday last in the semi-final of the Plate at the grove. A disappointing day for Abbeyfeale who played their best game of the season with a massive performance for all involved.Abbeyfeale who had a 3 point lead from a drop goal from Micheal Roche held that only score lead and possession until the dying minutes until Presentation got through for a controversal try in the last 2 minutes and also being awarded a penalty at the final whistle.

On Sunday last Abbeyfeale senior ladies took on cork side Cobh in a league match. Abbeyfeale started off the stronger side and the first half ended with Abbeyfeale leading 14-7. Abbeyfeale started the second half as they had started the first and ran in four more tries to secure the win and the all important bonus point in a very close battle for the top of the table. When the final whistle was blown score was 40-7. Well done to all the girls on a wonderful team performance.
